Juicy Meat Chops Recipe

Ingredients:

•For the Meat Chops:

•4 bone-in pork chops, lamb chops, or chicken chops (1-inch thick)

•2 tbsp olive oil

•2 tsp garlic powder

•1 tsp smoked paprika

•1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme

•1/2 tsp ground black pepper

•1 tsp salt (or to taste)

•1 tbsp lemon juice

•Optional Glaze (for extra flavor):

•1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

•2 tbsp soy sauce

•1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chops:

•Pat the chops dry with a paper towel.

•In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried rosemary, black pepper, and salt.

•Rub the olive oil and spice mixture all over the meat. Drizzle with lemon juice for extra flavor.

2. Optional Glaze:

•In a small bowl, whisk together the honey (or maple syrup), soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Set aside.

3. Cook the Chops:

•For Pan-Frying:

1.Heat a heavy skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil.

2.Cook the chops for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 145°F for pork/lamb or 165°F for chicken).

3.During the last 2 minutes, brush with the optional glaze for a sticky, flavorful finish.

•For Baking:

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2.Sear the chops in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, then transfer to the oven.

3.Bake for 8-10 minutes (depending on thickness), brushing with glaze halfway through, if using.

4. Rest and Serve:

•Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. This locks in the juices for extra tenderness.

Serving Ideas:

•Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.

•Serve with a side of your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
