Ingredients
- 1 cup of Coca-Cola (not diet)
- 1/2 cup of cooking oil
- 1 stick of butter
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- In a saucepan, mix the Coca-Cola, oil, butter, and cocoa. Bring this mixture to a boil.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and salt.
- Pour the cola mixture over the flour mixture and beat everything together until well combined.
- Add the eggs, buttermilk, baking soda, and vanilla extract. Beat the batter until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean when inserted into the cake.
