Ingredients:
For the Burger:
1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
4 burger buns (soft brioche works great)
4 slices cheddar cheese
1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
1 tbsp butter (for the lobster)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling)
For the Toppings:
Lettuce leaves
Sliced tomatoes
Pickles (optional)
Mayonnaise or your favorite sauce
Instructions:
Prepare the Lobster:
Heat a small pan over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, add the lobster meat and sauté for 2-3 minutes, just to warm it up. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Prepare the Beef Patties:
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then shape it into 4 equal-sized patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
Grill the Burger Patties:
Heat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil it. Grill the patties for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on your preferred level of doneness). In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Toast the Buns:
While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a separate pan.
Assemble the Burger:
Spread mayonnaise or your favorite sauce on the bottom bun.
Add a lettuce leaf, followed by the beef patty with melted cheese, then top with the warm lobster meat.
Add a slice of tomato and pickles, if desired, then close the burger with the top bun.
Serve:
Serve immediately with your favorite sides, like fries or a fresh salad.
Tips:
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the lobster meat.
