๐ฝ๏ธ Classic Lasagna Recipe ๐
Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles ๐
1 lb ground beef ๐ฅฉ
1 jar marinara sauce ๐
2 cups ricotta cheese ๐ง
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese ๐ง
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese ๐ง
1 egg ๐ฅ
1 tbsp olive oil ๐ซ
1/2 tsp garlic powder ๐ง
1/2 tsp dried oregano ๐ฟ
Salt & pepper to taste ๐ง
Fresh parsley for garnish ๐ฟ
Instructions:
Prepare the Noodles:
Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside. ๐
Make the Meat Sauce:
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef. ๐ฅฉ
Add garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. ๐
Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Mix well. ๐ง๐ฅ
Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). ๐ฝ๏ธ
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Layer lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta cheese mixture, meat sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat the layers. ๐ง๐
Finish with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden. ๐ฝ๏ธ
