Classic Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles ๐Ÿ
1 lb ground beef ๐Ÿฅฉ
1 jar marinara sauce ๐Ÿ…
2 cups ricotta cheese ๐Ÿง€
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese ๐Ÿง€
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese ๐Ÿง€
1 egg ๐Ÿฅš
1 tbsp olive oil ๐Ÿซ’
1/2 tsp garlic powder ๐Ÿง„
1/2 tsp dried oregano ๐ŸŒฟ
Salt & pepper to taste ๐Ÿง‚
Fresh parsley for garnish ๐ŸŒฟ
Instructions:
Prepare the Noodles:
Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside. ๐Ÿ
Make the Meat Sauce:
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef. ๐Ÿฅฉ
Add garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. ๐Ÿ…
Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Mix well. ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿฅš
Assemble the Lasagna:
Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Layer lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta cheese mixture, meat sauce, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat the layers. ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿ
Finish with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ
