Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta 🍀🍝
Ingredients:
For the Pasta:

8 oz (225g) spaghetti or fettuccine
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt (for boiling water)
For the Shrimp:

1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Sauce:

2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup (60ml) chicken or vegetable broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For Garnish:

Fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
SautΓ© the Shrimp:

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Add garlic, paprika, and chili flakes (if using). SautΓ© for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in the heavy cream, chicken or vegetable broth, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine:

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
Return the shrimp to the skillet and mix gently to combine. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to warm through.
Serve:

Plate the pasta and top with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
Serve immediately with garlic bread or a side salad.

Shrimp Substitutes: Swap shrimp for chicken, scallops, or even mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
