✅ Ingredients

For the Crust & Topping:

✔️ 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈

✔️ 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar 🥄

✔️ 4 large eggs 🥚

✔️ 1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿

✔️ ½ tsp almond extract (optional) 🌰

✔️ 3 cups all-purpose flour 🌾

✔️ ½ tsp salt 🧂

✔️ 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling 🍒

For the Glaze:

✔️ 1 cup powdered sugar 🍚

✔️ ½ tsp vanilla extract 🌿

✔️ 2 tbsp milk 🥛

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

2️⃣ In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 🧈🥄

3️⃣ Beat in eggs, one at a time, then mix in vanilla and almond extract.

4️⃣ Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined. The batter will be thick!

5️⃣ Spread ⅔ of the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

6️⃣ Spoon cherry pie filling over the batter, spreading it out evenly. 🍒

7️⃣ Drop the remaining batter in small spoonfuls over the cherries. (It won’t cover completely, but that’s okay!)

8️⃣ Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Cool completely.

9️⃣ Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cooled bars. 🍰
