Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3-4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate chips, for coating (optional)
Directions:
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter and butter until smooth. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until a dough forms. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Shape the Balls: Roll rounded tablespoons of the mixture into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Coat in Chocolate (Optional): Melt chocolate chips using a double boiler or microwave. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated, and place it back on the lined baking sheet.
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes or until they are set.
